  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to restore diadromous fish and to address high-hazard barriers; develop site-specific information and tools to assist decision-making, including cost-benefit analyses.
  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of sediment contamination in the Blackstone River and its tributaries, as well as other rivers and streams with widespread sediment contamination concerns, to inform dam removal efforts.
  • Partner with federal, state, and local agencies, officials, and indigenous communities to secure funding for large connectivity construction projects, including Lower Blackstone and other high priority areas.
